How to setup up Imo free video calls and chats
On the Home screen, you need to tap Applications and then tap IMO. Make sure that you have an account with the certain service, tap the service icon that you want to access with IMO. Enter your username and password for the selected service, and then tap login to proceed. If you are successful in logging in, the chat account is automatically added to the “I” tab list, and you are logged in into your account. If ever you want to add other chat accounts, press the 'Add Account button' and repeat the earlier steps. Remember that next time you launch the application; it recalls your most recent Availability setting, if you would like to sign in as Invisible, first choose it before you are logged out. To change your current availability, tap the text next to your thumbnail holder on the Contacts tab and select an option from the menu that appears.
To add a profile picture or image that you identify during the chat, click or tap the picture placeholder on the Contacts tab. Locate the picture you would like to use and then select, crop the image. As per your desired positioning, resize the blue selection rectangle and press Done.
If you have two or more chat accounts registered in IMO, you can link it through tapping the Link Accounts button on the “I” tab. If accounts are linked, automatically logs on to one of them logging in to all of them. Tap the Link Accounts button on the “I” tab. Once your accounts are linked, it allows you to get automatically logs on in all of your accounts just by after signing into one of them. Linking accounts treat all accounts as a single group. On the other hand, if you want to unlink selectively certain accounts, Tap the account name on the Me tab and then tap 'Unlink Account' in the dialog box. And to manually sign in to the unlinked accounts, is just an easy process, all you need to do is Drag its slider. Note that, you are able to remove a selected account by tapping Delete.
To configure Preferences for IMO, just tap the Preferences icon at the bottom of the “I” tab. Set up your preferences and then press the Back key to Go back. Here include settings in the "Privacy" section which you can check immediately, Auto Start. Checking this check box allows IMO to launch automatically each time you turn on the phone. Because IMO is battery-powered, this contributes to battery drainage. You should not always be available for chat and get random messages from people who aren’t your friend. You can remove the check mark and manually start it if you necessarily need it. Empty the Non-Buddy IMs check box to prevent people who are not in your friends or friend lists from messaging you.
When you are done with IMO, you can simultaneously log off all accounts and quit the
Program. On the tab, tap the sign out icon and confirm by tapping Yes in the dialog box.
Besides, you can also choose Sign Out from the Availability menu on the Contacts tab.
Starting a Chat on IMO
Either you or a friend can initiate a conversation, but you must be both logged into the same service. It does not matter whether you are using either IMO, or whether you are directly connected to the chat service with another particular application. And whether you use different types of devices computer, cell phone, or tablet.
Start your IMO with the “I” touch and make sure that you are logged in to the desired services.
If you desired, change your availability by selecting the Contacts tab, tap the current setting and availability in the displayed menu to select an option.
On the Contacts tab, see if the person you want to chat with is available. Tap the person's entry to start a chat session.
Enter the first message and tap the Send button.
Responding to a New Message
With IMO on your phone, you can reply to incoming messages.
The other person sees that you are online and available for chat and messages you then, or he or she simply sends you a message, hoping that you are online. If IMO is on the screen, tap a new notification, an addition to the current notification that is already open. On the Chat tab,enter the notification, and then tap the text of the message to join a chat. Alternatively, you can type the X to discard the message.
If IMO is running but not currently on the screen, follow this steps. Open the notification field and tap the message entry. Answer the message on the locked screen and send a quick reply. The advantage of this is that you can have answers without the lock screen.
Tips
If you do not feel like being interrupted, you can choose your availability, absent or busy but the best way is to choose invisible. In this mode, you can receive incoming messages anyway, but no one can say that you are online.
Add to an availability setting, you can add a status message that displays next to your
Icon in buddy lists. For example, you can explain how you are employed. To add a status message, tap the Contacts tab, tap the text box next to your availability type then proceed with editing the text, and then tap Update. If your status changes, change or delete the message to be safe.
You can add a new contact by clicking on Add contact icon at the bottom of the Contacts tab.
You must know your friend's chat users and the chat service he or she uses.
These cute smileys or emoticons are available for you to insert into messages.
Instead of typing the characters needed to create an emoticon, you can simply select the one that you want to insert. When a message is entered, press and hold the Emoticon button when you want to insert a smiley face for example. In the pop-up palette, tap the emoticon you want to paste. When the desired emotion is displayed on the button, you can insert it, simply by tapping the button.
You can add a new contact by clicking on Add contact icon at the bottom of the Contacts tab.

How to delete IMO account.
You can disable or permanently delete your IMO free video calls and chat account. Access and open your IMO, tap Settings, your IMO profile pic, IMO account settings then press delete IMO accounts. Enter your number and choose Delete and then done.
