Angry Birds Friends is not a brand new episode in the avian-destruction-sage since it was first launched on Facebook. Instead, this game is the new mobile version of the same genre. The only difference between the two is that this game now features weekly tournaments in which players pit their scores against those of their friends.
The game’s gameplay is still the common formula. Players fling several birds at pig constructions and try to snuff out the lives of the green monsters. No new avian creatures are introduced in this game, but players can use buffs on each level in order to help them do the task much easier.
Players can also make a bird much tougher to break obstacles easily, summon a scope that can help players see the aiming trail and a "birdquake" that can make less-sturdy structures topple. Players can resupply their stock of power-ups using coins that are earned in the game or buy them with actual money.
Angry Birds Friend’s physics is still unreliable and random. Rather than using skills, luck plays a huge role in earning success. The game’s scoring system is as ridiculous as before. Players can earn up to three stars for every level. Birds that are not used gives 10,000 points at the end of each match. That being said, players should aim to one-bird every level in order to achieve three stars.
