Basketball Stars is a fun sports game and has an entertaining twist in it. The game can be a little flicky in its nature, but it actually has a lot more going on under the bonnet. Compared to other similar games with just taking shots and aiming for a high score, it puts more challenge to players by playing against a real opponent. There is also a second game mode available that similar to one-on-one basketball duels, with one of the players trying to block other’s shots.

Each match being played will involve spending some in-game currency for the player’s success. Winning will reward players the whole pot, but losing will give them nothing.

In Shooting Race mode, players need to score as many points as they can. They need to swipe the screen to shoot, and need to stop if they see the power meter close to the perfect spot.

Each basket will count as two points and three points for every shot that doesn’t touch the rim. Scoring enough baskets will set the player on fire and each successful shot will be doubled.

In Attacker-Defender mode, things are more challenging. Players need to dodge and feint if they got the ball, and then shoot without letting the opponent knock the ball out of the sky. For defense, players need to focus and know what their opponent’s doing and try their best to stop them from scoring.

The first player to reach ten points will win. So players need to focus on getting those perfect shots. For every miss shots, make sure to focus on those faked shots by other players.
