Candy Crush Jelly Saga is a very famous free-to-play match-three game where the gameplay is focused on exchanging two adjacent candies that are on the game board and to create a column or a row of at least three matching-colored candies. Every matched candy will disappear from the board, and candies that are at the top will fill the empty spaces. New candies will also appear at the top of the board.

In addition, if you can create a match of at least four or more candies, a special candy will appear that can clear a column, a row, or other parts of the game board.

Candy Crush Jelly Saga gameplay is divided among many levels, which will require you to finish it in sequence. Every level carries various challenges to the players that include achieving a specific score that limits your moves or clearing candies with a fixed number of moves allowed in order to create special ingredients to the bottom of the game board.

The game board consist some various configurations and can sometimes come with special spaces having own unique rules. An example is spaces that are covered with jelly that needs to be cleared by creating a match on that specific space.

Achieving each level's goal means that you will be given a rate of one to three stars, which is based on your score and allows you to move on to the next level. Not meeting the level’s goal will cost you one life and will require you to repeat the same level. If you have consumed all your lives, you will need to wait for a specific time period to regenerate your lives before you can attempt to play the level again.
