The Kingdom Hearts Unchained is popularly known as one of the top-selling RPG brands worldwide. The game is a free-to-play RPG game that is set during the Keyblade War.
As players travel their way, they will come across different Disney and Square characters. After completing a series of short missions, they will take on larger and stronger bosses to make their way to the next world.
Almost all of the returning characters in the game will only make their appearances in the form of Medals that can be equipped to the Keyblade. These medals will show the power and property of each attack, and allow players to perform a special move. Unfortunately, these characters are only limited to static pictures on the Medals.
The game’s battle system is pretty straightforward. Each turn allows players to use their medals to attack their foes. They can tap on a specific enemy to unleash a powerful attack, swipe across the group to launch a weaker strike but damaged everyone. They can also touch a Medal or swipe to initiate a special move. Consuming all medals indicates that it’s the enemy’s turn to attack.
Every mission will run to four or five battles at least. Non-boss battles will just take a few seconds, and most of the level rewards are linked into defeating all the enemies in each stage.
Kingdom Hearts Unchained also features various upgrade systems. Medals can be used to feed characters in order to level up and having the right materials will evolve them to become a much stronger character.
