Gameplay

The main objective of the game is for you to have your own personal empire that you need to constantly build and upgrade to protect you from attacks. Your empire will be filled with many different structures, plots for farms and energy, and much more.

When you start playing, the game will take you through a small tutorial that will pretty much set up your empire in place. You need to follow through it, and you’ll be upgrading your building parts very fast as it will teach you how to do so.

Afterwards, you will be left on your own to build your empire how you want, and this is when the game’s biggest mechanic comes in. A significant part of this game is waiting since on every upgrade you do on your buildings, it will have a timer.

However, you will have an option to speed up the time for free, but in most cases, you will have to spend it with one of the game’s currencies. Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire is designed to make everyone wait and do other stuff within the game while they are waiting on their builds or upgrades.

One of your main goals in this game is to collect energy, stone, food, metal, Gil, and gold and you will need to protect your base from invaders. You can do this by forming guilds and upgrading your troops and defenses. Luckily, you won’t have to worry too much about monsters attacking you during the start of the game. The 24-hour Empire Barrier will keep you safe.

Tips and Tricks

You Need To Complete Different Types of Quests

By simply clicking on the Quests Tab, it will allow you to choose from a variety of quests to complete such as Empire Quests, Hero Quests, Guild Quests and VIP Quests. Empire Quests usually asks you to build and upgrade everything within your Empire. Hero Quests are broken down into three varieties – Basic, Uncommon and Common. Each of them has a time limit, so you will need to wait until it’s done. You will do the same in the Guild Quests.

Join a Guild

Joining a guild in Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire is needed. The benefits of joining a guild include receiving 100 Gold for just joining one guild, receiving free speed up boosts for your quest timers, getting many guilds from your fellow guild members, having access to the Guild Store, and earning Loyalty Point by helping your allies.

Also, when you see a red number notification on your Guild Tab, you need to take off that request immediately. That request indicates an ally seeking help straight from the Guild Help tab. Helping a fellow guildmate will give you more Loyalty Points, which you can use to purchase items from the Guild Store. Loyalty points could also help you activate your VIP Subscription, refreshes quests so you can get better ones to complete, and speed up the completion time for a Hero Quest. It will be difficult to hit the Daily Loyalty limit found in the Guild Help Section, but just try to hit the goal anyway.

Make Sure You Do Research

Your University will be your main area where you can do research upgrades for your empire. You can apply four different categories in your research such as Economics, Combat, Defense, and Hero. These four elements play a huge part in protecting your empire. For instance, upgrading your Hero Tab allows you to research things like Monster Tactics. This ability will give your Hero a big chance to take on Level 1 creatures on the Realm Map.

You will need to make sure that your hero is in great shape by tapping on the Hero Profile face tab located at the top left corner of your screen. The AP that you will receive from completing Hero Quests will help you unlock new skills for your current hero.

Strengthen Your Troops At The Training Grounds

The Training Grounds is one of the things that you would want to focus on upgrading. Having a better training grounds means that you can easily boost your Training Queue and fasten up the Training Speed percentage. You will have to train one troop at a time. Those troops are classified as Mages, Cavalry, Warriors, and Siege Engines. Let me give you the troop type strength/weakness chart breakdown:

• Mages are strong against Warriors and Siege Engines, but weak against Cavalry and Traps

• Cavalry are strong against Mages and Siege Engines, but weak against Warriors and Traps

• Warriors are strong against Cavalry and Siege Engines, but weak against Mages and Traps

• Siege Engines are strong against Traps, but weak against Warriors, Cavalry, and Mages

Always Level Up Your Citadel

The Citadel is another significant building that gives you an overall report of your empire’s continued advancement and production. When you level up your Citadel, your production on Energy, Food, Metal, and Gil will also improve over time. Another benefit is it will also unlock new structures for you to place around your empire, and probably get a gift or two for your efforts.

Become A VIP

When you have enough Loyalty Points, you can spend them on your VIP Subscription activation. It will give you a VIP status for a couple of minutes or even a whole day. Once it’s activated, you can enter VIP Quests to get even greater rewards. Loyalty currency can also add some points to your VIP level. VIP rewards at level 1 are instant construction speed up for 7 minutes, VIP Quest Bonus +1, Food Protection +4 percent, and VIP in Player Profile and Chat.

Open Your Secret Gifts

You can find your Secret Gifts on the chest that’s floating above the recommended quest tab. After you open them, you will have to wait for a while before you can collect your new rewards. Make sure to always keep an eye on that chest because you may get an extra Speed Up item.

Always Collect All Your Completed Empire Quest Rewards

As mentioned before, recommended quests usually stick to Empire Quest. By completing them, you can receive tons of resources, so always makes sure that you are aware when they’re done. All the resources that you have collected by completing several Empire Quests can be applied towards doing, even more, building upgrades. The buildings that you can upgrade are your Wall, Hero Monument, Embassy, Watchtower, Hospital, Hospital Ward, Bank, Barracks, Banishment Portal, Prison, Secret University, Treasury, University, Citadel, Training Grounds/Special Training Grounds, Proving Grounds, and Armory/Advanced Armory.

Make Sure To Connect Your Facebook Account

If ever you have a friend who’s playing this game, ask them for a referral. Connecting the game to your Facebook account can give you tons of rewards. But even without the referral, you can still connect to the game to your Facebook account and receive a different reward. It will give you access to your own Gold Mine. Having your own Gold Mine gives you the power to invite more of your Facebook friend and receive rewards.

You Need To Invest In The Treasury

During the tutorial, you get to build a level 1 version of the Treasury. This allows you to deposit gold and get back an investment bonus. At level 1, the Treasury will have a two hour investment time with a 10 percent interest rate. Meaning if you deposit 100 gold, you will get back 110 gold after two house, which is a profit of 10 gold.

However, for you to upgrade your Treasury past level 1, you will need to purchase something with real money. But it’s still fine to stick with the regular Treasury. You should do this often to increase your gold income.

You Need To Occupy The Resources Caches

If you keep depending on your in base-farms, you’ll surely run low on resources. So you will need to venture out into the world of Eos and occupy a nearby resource cache. Every type of resource has its own cache. You will also need to send out an exploration party. Once your exploration party reaches the cache, they will start to collect resources until they’re full, then they will automatically head back to your kingdom. But be careful because your party can be attacked at any time. So better keep an eye on them.

Make Sure That Your Queues Are Always Busy

For you to keep your empire progressing at a steady rate, you will need to make sure that all your queues are working on something. If you’re not building anything, you can upgrade your existing buildings. If ever you’re not researching anything, try to research anything to give yourself an advantage. And if you don’t have enough troops, keep training new soldiers in the training grounds. Just make your queues busy!
