Flip Diving is a simple arcade game that you can control by just using a single finger. There is a diver that stands somewhere high, and what you need to do is to push the screen and release, and they will jump off. You can push again to tuck and perform a trick, and then you can lift up your finger to plunge perfectly into the water.
Every stage you will play comes with some points you dive from. Your landing will be designated with a few buoys that are floating in the water. If you miss the landing area, or land in a way that you are not supposed to land, or smack into an object, the game will end, and you will start over again.
You can collect coins here, and you can use it to take a spin on the Gacha machine. This machine will provide you with new and unique tricks, new divers and levels to try out and do all the best dives as much as possible.
Flip Diving doesn’t offer enough variety. You won’t feel that you are developing into a better diver or making some inroads into the difficulties of the sport. What you will feel is just splashing in a puddle until you will reach the arbitrary limit and then you will be allowed to splash in a different pool.
Flip Diving can be exciting as a narrative diversion about a guy receiving serious impacts from different types of objects, but other than that, the game is not really worth it.
