Frontline Commando D-Day is the newest 3D freemium action mobile game developed by Glu Mobile. Glu Mobile is behind of some very successful games such as Gun Bros. and Blood & Glory. The game is also a successor to the Frontline Commando 2011 which featured a better modern setting and storyline compared to this World War II title.
The game has five massive campaigns, with 145 various missions spread between them. The campaigns will include Gold, Juno, Sword, Utah, and Omaha. The game’s beach level features a very stunning graphics, with barbed-wire barrack coming out from the sand, and beautiful in-game lighting that shines above the crashing waves on the shoreline.
Touchscreen controls of the game are pretty simple, and it’s very satisfying killing off soldiers with headshots. This also adds a more dynamic to the basic shooting gameplay which forces players to stay on their toes and cover all their bases.
The fact that the freemium model of the game doesn’t stop players from making some progress in the game, it does strictly limit players from using different kinds of weapons and makes it almost impossible to get 3 stars in most of the upcoming levels. An average rifle will cost 120 Gold in the game store, and two bazooka shots for 10 Gold.
Frontline Commando: D-Day is a game that’s perfect for players who are looking for a more in-depth hardcore experience on a mobile device, without turning away the more casual mobile audiences. Having a stunning presentation and addictive shooting gameplay makes the whole mission worthy to complete.
