Kahoot!

This app is a game on an educational platform. It is sometimes used as an educational tool in some learning institutions. The app is made for social learning where a group can share a screen. The app was originally launched in Norway in August of 2013. As of now, this app is played and used by millions of people around the world.

In a classroom, this app serves as a board, projector screen or a computer monitor. Kahoot can also be used while sharing screens in apps like Google Hangouts and Skype. When using Kahoot, there is a unique pin that is generated randomly by its system which the users need to input followed by their nickname before they can be directed to the lobby or waiting screen. If the lobby already has all the names for that group, Kahoot then who acts as the host or teacher starts the quiz.

As to the gameplay, there will be questions and multiple choices type of quiz where the answers correspond or represent a specific shape and color. On the player’s screen, there will be four tiles or choices where they will refer their answers and just simply click or tap into their choices.

Aside from the quizzes, Kahoot also has a Jumble game where the players or the students drag and organize tiles following a specific order. This app can be played anytime and anywhere whether it is on mobile, laptop or computer as long as it has a reliable browser and is connected to the internet.
