Marvel Avengers Academy is a game that foresees the headliners from Marvel’s superhero line up as if it has already obtained their superpowers in their developing years. The game takes place in a special school exclusively for teen mutants led by Nick Fury.
The gameplay involves completing certain quests for a young Tony Stark together with other teen Marvel characters, getting new heroes and train them at the academy, and buying new buildings to create new training possibilities.
Whenever players are on the school grounds, their job is to give each teen Avenger various tasks. These tasks can vary between training their powers, doing school-related activities, and social pursuits. The game will require players to tap into their characters, create action over them and return to collect the rewards after it’s completed.
In between quests that advance the game’s whole narrative and different tasks that players can select anytime off the mission board, there’s also an illusion that there’s a lot of things to do.
On the school grounds, your job is to assign each of the teen Avengers to different tasks, which vary between school-related activities, training their powers and purely social pursuits. The gameplay primarily requires players to tap into their characters, draw an action over them and then return to collect the reward after it’s complete.
Problems will only start to arise if there are actions that require hours to finish and tying up heroes. Marvel Avengers Academy also comes with premium in-game currency in the form of Infinity Shards that helps players speed up tasks, but they might want to consider saving them to unlock more heroes like the “Vision” that is impossible to get any other way.
