Star Wars: Force Arena is a free-to-play app that mashes up MOBA style and collectible card game elements in Clash Royale, but focuses more towards the MOBA side. Every player will have a lead character who aims to destroy their enemy bases.
In the classic MOBA style, the base is said to be protected by turrets in different lanes on the game map. Along with stepping one step closer to their base, eliminating the turrets is a big help since it can help decide the match is the two bases make it the entire three minutes intact.
Rather than auto-generating spawns, the remaining forces on each side are headed into battle through a deck of cards representing Star Wars characters, weapons, and vehicles. Each one will cost energy, and when the pool of energy has built up to the right amount, a card can then be played by dragging it into the battlefield. Lastly, each leader has a unique ability that can be activated with one tap of a big button that can be used anytime or after the cooldown timer expires.
The game also has a 2v2 mode which gets even crazier. There is a guild system that gives an easy method to find and unite with other players. That includes a practice battle which won’t count against the game’s ranking system. There are also training battles to try out new deck combinations and strategies.
The game’s advancement comes through leveling up each card, a system that was also borrowed from the Clash Royale playbook. Gather enough copies of the similar card, and with enough credits (game’s soft currency), players can get a very powerful card. Star Wars: Force Arena is a fun and exciting game that anyone can enjoy.
