The Walking Dead: Road to Survival, a well-known game that allows players to control a few of the famous Walking Dead characters in a turned-based RPG game that provides players a sneak peek of what really happened off-cam in both the popular television series and comic books.
A turned-based combat system is pretty easy to learn. At the beginning of each turn, every character can all attack a specific target at once. Then, when fighting zombies, zombies will take one step closer to the player’s group. If fighting humans, each of them will perform an offensive attack in one of the player’s characters and then it’s the other player’s turn. There are specific character types that can deal massive damage to others, so it’s always better to analyze the situation first before starting to hack and shoot.
What makes the game a lot cooler compared to other similar games is that it provides players a progressive story that runs parallel to the book’s main events. In addition, the campaign mode allows players to make a few big decisions along the way.
Outside of the combat zone, the game is similar to those standard base-building games. It consists of all the common trappings of the sit-and-wait titles that have turned to be standard for mobile devices. The multiplayer mode of The Walking Dead: Road to Survival takes the form of raids. Players will battle other players for reputation. Winning a battle increases the player’s reputation and losing decreases it. Also, it provides players enough amounts of resources that they can use to strengthen their characters or use it to upgrade their buildings.
